Daily Love Ritual: All Things Without Bitching

International Woman's Day today.

And all of a sudden women both online and offline feel entitled to bitch and nagg about everything to their heart's content.

After all, it's our day!

You'd hear us complaining about the unfairness of it all, of being a woman, of carrying the burden of childbirth, breastfeeding and child raising.

Of  having to juggle a career, a husband/lover and family life.

Of the stupid, insensitive only-care-for-one thing creature called man.

Of the spectacular failing of the woman's lib movement.

Of how hard it is being a woman in today's cold, cruel world.

Of feeling isolated, misunderstood, mistreated. idolized and then humiliated, marginalised, subjected to violence, criticism, unrealistically high expectations.

Yeah, this might as well be called International Chick's Bitching Day.

Bitch, bitch, bitch. Moan, moan, moan.Whine, whine whine.

Why all this complaining and bemoaning?
.

The politically correct theory, of course,  is that women's lives are worse, so they have more to complain about.

After all, don't men often ignore, disrespect, and abandon, even beat and rape, women?

Yes, isn't it obvious that a woman's life is frought with difficulties, trouble and heartache? Being a woman is so damn hard.

Oh, so being a woman is a so damn hard?

What about being a man? Trying to be a man in today's world and women's unrealistic expectations (not to mention bitching and whining) are enough reasons to drive you insane. Or impotent. Or both.

Women also ignore, disrespect, abandon, and beat men.  Women rarely rape men, but they often do render them impotent with manipulative  and/or controlling tactics.

And what about being a kid? Being a kid is so damn hard, it's a miracle we all survive that.

Also, being old, I am told, sucks big time. Yeah, being old is so damn hard it's enough reason to bitch about  day and night.

And don't you even let me get started about how hard it is being an animal on this planet.

My point?

Life on earth is so damn hard for anyone.

Men, women, animals, the young and the old, the rich and the poor, we all have to face challenges, difficulties, pain physical and emotional, bad luck and death.

Get used to it and get a grip.

Why do we women tend to whine and moan and bitch a lot more than everyone else, if life on this planet is so damn hard for everyone?

I don't know, maybe it's our ' whiny little princess' mentality.

The whiny little princess syndrom is a tricky one, for it can affect even strong, independent and capable women.Turn them into whiny little princesses in a matter of seconds.

So? you're saying. What's wrong with that?

I'll tell you what,

Words are immensely powerful, they can uplift you or they can sadden you, they can make you angry or they can have you weeping with joy.

The tongue is mightier than the sword, as is the written word.

So whether someone is saying something to your face or whether it takes the form of idle gossip behind your back, it can still hurt one equally.

Bitching is a form of bullying in my books.

When someone says or writes something there is usually an emotional attachment that comes with it. It all depends on the individual interpretation as to how we react. A bitch/bully knows full well that whoever they are directing their speech/text at will feel diminished as a result. All bitching only aims at those who they believe are weaker than themselves.

The fact that someone is bitching means they fully intend to exert power over you, punish you even, in order to feel good about themselves. There is nothing heroic about bitching despite how many disciples they've got worshipping them.

Let us stop bitching and whining and moaning about being a woman.

For one it is so unworthy of an enlightened, angelic human being such as ourselves.

For another, it won't get you, or me or women in general anywhere.

Swimming downstream is always so much more effortless and spiritual than thrashing about trying to swim upstream.

Stop complaining and whining.

Instead. start marvelling and rejoicing at your divine human nature.

At your feminine charms.

At your life-creator, life -giving, life-sustaining powers in your womb , the only real super powers on this planet.

At your powers to inspire love, tenderness and light in men (or other women).

At your intuitive, almost magical subconscious powers.

At the miracle of being a woman.

At the miracle of being a human being
