Wednesday Story: My Stupid Hippie Rainbow Taste

''When it comes to blogging, you have to embrace your weirdness!''

''You have to go your own way. As proof of concept, my site is not like anyone else’s, and I love that. I am often imitated, but never duplicated, and I cannot be pigeonholed. I march to my own fabulous drum, and I dance to my disco beats, and I put sparkles on that shit and I make it my own.
I change things all the time. I try new tactics. I experiment by writing about different topics in different ways. Some of it doesn’t work, but some of it does. In any industry, you have to be constantly innovating in order to stay fresh and relevant. Don’t be fooled into thinking blogging is any different.
You will never make a name for yourself by pretending to be someone else. You will never carve out a niche by playing it safe. You will never make the grade if you never try anything new.
Get out there and rip the pants off the internet! Shock us stupid! Do something devastatingly brilliant. Give us what we didn’t even know we needed.''

My Stupid Hippie Rainbow Taste  or  The Fable of the Rainbow Bird

Once upon a time there was a rainbow bird.

She was different.

Unlike all other birds whose feathers sported just one or a couple of colours, she was as colourful as a rainbow.

''You are an eyesore'' told her the sparrow. ''Why cant you get rid of all those blinding colours? Take purple for example. No bird should look like a berry!''

''But I like purple''said the rainbow bird. ''It reminds me of my spirituality''.

''Get rid of your pink feathers'', advised the crow. ''No bird can be taken seriously if they look that cheesy''.

''But I love my pink feathers'', said the rainbow bird .''It reminds me of my girly nature.''

''Black ages you so' the dove told her. ''Get rid of those ugly black feathers''.

''But I like black'' said the rainbow bird. ''It reminds me of my strength''.

''Green is such a stupid color for a bird'' said the canary. ''You dont want them to think you're a grasshopper, do you?  Get rid of it''

''But I like green'' said the raunbow bird. ''It reminds me of my vitality''

''White is no colour for a strong bird'', suggested the falcon. ''Unless you are a stupid, pathetic dove. Get rid of it''.

''But I like white'' answered the rainbow bird. ''It reminds me of purity of thought''.

''If you got to do it, you got to do it right'', scorned the peacock.'' Get rid of that dull brown color at once''.

''But I like brown'' said the rainbow bird. ''It reminds me of my down-to-earthness.''

''Red is a shameful color'', added the swallow. ''Get rid of it''.

''But I like red'' said the rainbow bird. ''It reminds me of my passion''.

''Blue is a color good enough only for fish.''said the seagull. ''So unbecoming for a bird''

''But I like blue'' said the rainbow bird. ''It reminds me of my inner peace''

''At least get rid of that yellow'' said the grouse. ''You look ridiculously clownish in it''

''But I like yellow'' said the rainbow bird. ''It reminds me of my God-like nature''.

''Why grey feathers?'' asked the parrot. ''It is dull and unimaginative.Get rid of it.''

''But I like grey''said the rainbow bird. ''It reminds me of ashes and my mortal nature and helps me put things into perspective''.

After all this the rainbow bird had a quiet moment and thought  long and hard about her situation.

''I can't please everyone, it seems.'' she said to herself.  ''No matter what colour I keep or get rid of, one bird or another won't like it and believe I'm ugly.''

''So I might as well keep all my colors.

All of them are mine. All of them are me.

I like them all so I am keeping all of them.I don't care what they think.

I like myself the way I am.''

'
'Don't listen to those birds, rainbow bird'' advised a fairy friend of hers.

''They have frozen into one or two colors to conform to standards and feel safe. They have become so predictable, that they ended up being as boring and unoriginal as hell.

Some of them are angry at you for reminding them of all they've lost or simply they just want you to be like them because they know no better .

Go on being yourself, rainbow bird. Go on enjoying life and all its multi-colored beauty.

Go on being unashamedly your multi-faceted self.

The world needs you and your wierdness,  'stupid hippie' rainbow  bird...''

My older kids have given what I post on my blog and on facebook the all-inclusive title ''stupid hippie stuff''.

My taste in blogging and facebook can indeed be considered kinda hippie.

Meaning, unlike most, if all, I  won't stick to one type or category of posts.

I am into positive thinking and new age stuff, but I might ridicule some aspects of it  at other times.

I post serious , religious posts one day and then on yet another I might scorn organised religion.

I believe in reconciling the joy of sex and sexuality with spirituality and God

I am into spirituality and the occult, but I also love and post girly stuff, frilly dresses, exciting shoes and nice hairstyles.

I write about my fitness goals  and working out   but also about eating candy and chocolate and relishing life.

Business stuff interests me as much as family life and my kids.

Politics I find a bore, though I might occasionally comment on some current affair or other, but I love my country deeply and I regularly post stuff about Greek history

Yes, I  certainly won't stick to one type or category of posts.

Not because I lack direction or focus, I hope.

Only because I am into sooo much stuff.

I love life in all its glorious beauty.

I dont believe in uniformity, either in thought, in real life or in blogging (or facebooking ).

Life is full of colours.

Why stick to one or two when you can enjoy all of them?

My Stupid Hippie Rainbow Taste in life and blogging is all mine.

And I  wouldnt have it any other way.

And so, I hope, would you.

Wednesday Story : A Fable

Once upon a time day a king of a far off kindom in a far off planet announced that he would make a heart contest and the man with the most beautiful heart would marry his only daughter. He said it was only fair that the young princess would marry the man with the most beautiful heart, as she herself had the most perfect heart as well. You see, one's heart was visible through their chests on that planet.

A large crowd gathered in the palace on the appointed day, most of them rich and wealthy but also a lot handsome and brave, to show off their beautiful hearts.

A particular young and handsome prince stood in the middle of the ball room, proclaiming he has the best heart in the entire planet.

Everyone was staring at him and they all admired his heart, for it was perfect. There was not a mark or a flaw in it. Yes, they all agreed. It truly was the most beautiful heart they had ever seen. The young man was very proud and boasted more loudly about his beautiful heart.

Suddenly, an old man appeared at the front of the crowd and said,
“Why, your heart is not nearly as beautiful as mine.” The crowd and the young man looked at the old man’s heart.

It was beating strongly, but full of scars. It had places where pieces had been removed and other pieces put in, but they didn’t fit quite right and there were several jagged edges. In fact, in some places there were deep gouges where whole pieces were missing.

The people stared. ¬ “How can he say his heart is more beautiful?”

The young man looked at the old man’s heart and saw its state and laughed. “You must be joking,” he said. “Compare your heart with mine, mine is perfect and yours is a mess of scars and tears.”

“Yes,” said the old man, “Yours is perfect looking but I would never trade with you. You see, every scar represents a person to whom I have given my love – I tear out a piece of my heart and give it to them, and often they give me a piece of their heart which fits into the empty place in my heart, but because the pieces aren’t exact, I have some rough edges, which I cherish, because they remind me of the love we shared.”

“Sometimes I have given pieces of my heart away, and the other person hasn’t returned a piece of his heart to me. These are the empty gouges – giving love is taking a chance. Although these gouges are painful, they stay open, reminding me of the love I have for these people too, and I hope someday they may return and fill the space I have waiting. So now do you see what true beauty is?”

Then the young princess stood up from her throne. She walked past the handsome prince and up to the old man, reached into her perfect, young and beautiful heart, and ripped a piece out. She offered it to the old man with trembling hands. The old man took her offering, placed it in his heart and then took a piece from his old scarred heart and placed it in the wound in the young girl’s heart. It fit, but not perfectly, as there were some jagged edges.

The princess looked at her heart, not perfect anymore but more beautiful than ever, since love from the old man’s heart flowed into hers.

They embraced and walked away side by side.

Wednesday Story: My Mission Story

"The day you feel good about everything and everybody you will have everything you want in life." Rita Soman

Here is my mission statement:

My mission is to make people feel good!

Make them feel good about what?

Everything.

Their life, themselves, the universe, new opportunities, the internet, facebook, love, sex, the weather, each other, just..everything!

Why?

Why would I wonna do that?

Here is why:

David Hawkins concluded from a 20-year study of kinesiologic calibrations that a person’s mental state can have a profound effect on the condition of his or her body. He created an arbitrary scale that mapped the energy of human consciousness.

Any state, attitude, or emotion that causes a person to vibrate at a frequency below 200 on the Hawkins scale weakens the body, and from 200 to 1,000, strengthens it. He determined the lowest emotional vibration rate to be shame. A shameful thought weakens the person.

Higher on the scale, but below 200, are guilt, apathy, grief, fear and anxiety, craving, anger, and hate. Love, joy, and peace move up the scale, with enlightenment at the top in the 700 to 1,000 range.

Right now, the average level of energy on Earth is around 207 — way lower than the maximum of 1,000. -

The level we should aim for is 500 and above. (500 being the vibration of love)

A cool bit of Dr. Hawkins’ study is the discovery that it doesn’t just have a positive effect in your own life.

He even identified that one person operating at a level of 500 (love) can lift 750,000 other people above 200.

Just imagine.

One person -you- constantly and unwaveringly operating at a level of love can lift 750,000 other people above 200.

If you get another person to operateat the level of love, then he or she can lift 750,000 other people above 200.

When you operate a a high frequency level, you radiate anonymous blessings to the world around you...your neighborhood...your town..your country.

How do you make people raise their frequency?

There are many many ways .

A friend of mine is an expert at making you feel good by pampering the shit out of you. Whenever she invites you tO her home, she feeds you deliscious, hand-made delicacies, prepares special kinds of tealaced with cognac for you, puts you up in a special comfy armchair next to the fireplace and is generally so attentive to your every need that you feel like heaven.

My vibration soars to the sky whenever I am with her!

Another friend of mine makes people feel great by practicing the rare and almost forgotten art of listening attentively and compassionately, taking on your pain and making you feel heard, loved and understood.

Τalking about raising your vibrations here...

So I decided I wanted to do exactly that.

 To make people feel good!

Here is my specific job description:

Vibration Raiser!

Sounds neat, right?

I am good with words and giving praise, so I decided to use this particular way of helping people feel good.

And I have incorporated this into my online persona as well.

So many people ask me:

''Why do you spend all this time on Facebook, posting stuff, when you are obviously not promoting anything or getting any money out of it''?

I'll tell you why
( aside from the fact that it's as fun as hell, of course!)

My goal is to make 1.000.00 people achieve all the following on a daily basis:

-Make them feel better!

-Help them be motivated to look better!

-Give them security

-Give them hope

-Make them believe, feel and share love

- Make them explore their sacred sexual nature

-Give them something to laugh about

-Arise in them any positive emotion!

-Enhance their dreams!

-IN GENERAL, PROVIDE MAGICAL MOMENTS FOR THEM!

Some goal, huh?

Yeah, I KNOW.

Sounds too big.

Too big? Says who?

It's my dream, my world, my reality.

So many people go online only to bitch or watch other people bitching about their life, each other, the economy, politics, the state of the world.

Do you have any idea what this does to their vibration?
or yours? or mine?

Exactly.

Plunging it head down.

It is a viscious circle, really.

The more unhappy people get, the more our world plunges into dispair and the more things get worse for everyone in general.

So I decided it would be a good idea to help raise people's vibration online.

Why?

Why would I wonna do all those things for people for free?

I'll tell you why.

Raising people's vibrations is the most important thing we can do right now to  save our world, country OR ourselves...

I magine getting 1.000.000 people  to operate at a high frequency daily....

Just imagine it, people!

Can you imagine it, can you see it?

I can. I can see it.It's right here, before my eyes.

So I am trying my damnest to do it, to the best of my abilities.

Why am I DOING it FOR FREE?

In other words, what am I getting out of this?

Like, why not trying to attach it to some profit-making activity on my blog etc?

Simple.

In order for us to have something we desire in abudance, we need to cause other people to have it.

The more, the better.

Those things I listed above? The ones I do my best to make other people have ?

They represent my core values.

My deepest convictions.

What I want to have most in life, what I treasure the most.

So I am giving them to other people for free.

And guess what???

I DO ENJOY ALL THE ABOVE IN ABUNDANE!!!!

Ever since I started doing it, my life became full of magical moments.

Don't you believe for a moment that it became easier,hussle-free, problem-free or heartache-free, a bed of roses.

Because it didn't.
But it did become full of magical moments.

Like the ones in fairy tales, I swear!

Moments I could never even dream of wnen I was just an exhausted business owner who was working 14 hours a day.

Moments I previously thought were meant for very few priviledged ones.

And now I get to experience them in my own life.

In all the above listed areas.

Which are, in essence, the ingredients for a trully magical, happy, fullfilled and abundant life.

And I havent even reached 1% of my goal yet.....

Just imagine the magic that is about to spill over in my and other people's lives when I do!

Just imagine!

Be a vibration raiser . In your own unique way.

The world needs you.

Wednesday Story: The Atheist and the Bear

This story is not mine, just a nice old joke I thought I'd share here;

The Atheist and the Bear

An atheist was taking a walk through the woods. 'What majestic trees! What powerful rivers! What beautiful animals!', he said to himself.
As he continued walking alongside the river he heard a rustling in the bushes. Turning to look, he saw an enormous bear charging towards him.
He ran as fast as he could up the path. Looking over his shoulder he saw that the bear was closing in on him. His heart was pumping frantically and he tried to run even faster.
He tripped and fell on the ground. He rolled over to pick himself up but saw the bear raising his paw to take a swipe at him.
At that instant the atheist cried out: 'Oh my God!...'
Time stopped.
The bear froze.
The forest was silent.
It was then that a bright light shone upon the man and a voice came out of the sky saying:
'You deny my existence for all of these years, teach others I don't exist and even credit creation to a cosmic accident.
Do you expect me to help you out of this predicament? Am I to count you as a believer?'
The atheist looked directly into the light.
'It would be hypocritical of me to suddenly ask you to treat me as a Christian now, but perhaps, could you make the BEAR a Christian?'
'Very well, 'said the voice. The light went out, and the sounds of the forest resumed.
And then the bear lowered his paw, bowed his head and spoke: 'Lord, bless this food which I am about to receive and for which I am truly thankful, Amen.'
